I apologize for the delay in any updates here at the lodge. We have continued to receive a good amount of snow since I last wrote, but the down side is that the wind has just been terrible. I still will not complain it has been a great season here this winter and as long as the snow keeps coming it will then end our winter season well. Since the last post we have had some return guest visit and stay for a few days as well as some new faces and have to say it has been a very enjoyable experience for the staff.

What I wish all could have witnessed last night was something very special to see and the great thing is that all of our guests where around to enjoy it. We had last night one of the best piano performances in this lodge by three different people and it was just something to listen too and watch. The names will not be spoken of but for those who played I would like to say thank you again for such a performance and I truly have never seen the Brooks Lake Lodge Piano played that well for that long and for all to enjoy and I do have to say it was one the most memorable evenings for me over the last 9 yrs.

We had a small wedding this past weekend and it went well, minus the blustery conditions for photos afterwards. The snowmobilers had nothing but good things to say about the terrain and where the guides where taking them. For those of you still looking to come out this season please beware of the snow conditions on hillsides and such, I am not telling anyone to avoid all hill climbing I am just advising those who enjoy the sport of seeing who can climb the highest to first assess the situation before climbing.

The season is rapidly coming to a close for us we roughly only have 2 weeks left of our winter season and apologize if we are closing to early for some of you to see us.
